California Academy of Science: Madagascar Exhibit
Being a volunteer at CAS – California Academy of Science, caused me to learn a lot about Madagascar and also to get to share my experience with visitors who come to our museum. If you are visiting San Francisco, you should definitely make a trip to the museum.
The Madagascar exhibit has photos from the spiny forest, games for kids, and also interesting facts about the baobabs, lemurs, beetles, and other interesting species in Madagascar. There is also a video by WWF about Madagascar that you can view in our library on the second floor.
Madagascar: Still on My Mind
Well, it has been more than a year since I went to Madagascar for the first time. I plan to return, it is basically all I think about, and the reason I moved out of San Francisco .. I just needed to go somewhere to work on my projects to get myself closer to that “dream”.
I was reading about things that have happened in Madagascar, and have heard that World Wildlife Fund-WWF, the global conservation organization, has restarted their volunteer program. You can view opportunities to volunteer by visiting :
